Irish Shows AGMs Go Virtual
In a year where our shows had to go online, we are looking to the future and making plans for our regional and national AGMs. Normally, the National AGM and Dinner Dance is our social highlight and a chance to catch up with all our show friends. This year, we have to stay apart to help each other. That doesn't mean that shows cannot attend the AGM, albeit through a computer screen or a phone. It will not be the same, but the show must go on.
Our National AGM will take place virtually on Saturday 28th November.
Nominations for appointments to the board have closed and postal ballots are being circulated this week in the regions where an election is required. Ballots must be returned in the stamped addressed envelope provided by the 12th November.
Our regional AGMs will take place during the month of November on the following dates:
| 17th November | Northern Region |
| 18th November | Southern Region |
| 19th November | Midlands Region |
| 23rd November | Eastern Region |
| 24th November | Western Region |
Notices are currently being circulated to the show secretaries, along with details on how to register.
Pre-registration is required for all AGMs, which is equivalent to signing the attendance register at a physical meeting.
