Horse Sport Ireland / Irish Shows Association All-Ireland Showing Series 2021

 07 Aug 2021
  Charleville Showgrounds

The Irish Shows Association is delighted to announce that the Horse Sport Ireland All-Ireland Showing series will go ahead in 2021, along with some of our other All-Ireland competitions, in a special format to ensure that all COVID-19 restrictions can be complied with, and the events are run safely.

We are very grateful for the funding and support received from H.S.I. through the Irish Sporthorse Studbook Breeders Fund and to the other sponsors who are making it possible to run. Thanks to the host shows who run these finals year on year for allowing us to run the competitions centrally in 2021. We look forward to us all being back in the regular venues next year.

For one year only, competitions will run on a direct entry basis, with numbers strictly limited. Entry will be online only through our website www.irishshows.org. Full details will be published in the coming days. Due to safety requirements around Covid-19, entries will be limited to 15 per competition. Competitions will run on a timed basis to ensure that numbers can be maintained at a safe level throughout the day. A full list of covid protocols will be published on our website.

The series will take place on Saturday August 7th in Charleville Showgrounds and on Saturday September 4th in Roscommon Showgrounds. Our sincere thanks to the committees of Charleville and Roscommon Shows and to the Hannon family for the use of their venues. These events will not be open to the public. Please note that dates may have to change in response to Covid restrictions.

The following competitions will run in Charleville on Saturday 7th August:

  • All-Ireland Two-Year Old Filly (Kildysart)
